Hi Rob. I don't know if you've had a look at the new Road Trips offer, but in acknowledgement of this anniversary they are doing a package with a W.D. T-shirt at a special price. It's possibly the dullest T-shirt I've ever seen with the words 'Grateful Dead' on it so I passed. Is the outtakes tape with 'Operator' on it from W.D. ? If so I'll break that out while I'm cooking tonight.

On another topic I just read a review of the Richard Thompson Kate McGarrigle night at Meltdown - it sounds extraordinary. Nick Cave, Martha and Rufus, Linda Thompson on stage with Richard. (Another) One of those 'wish I'd been there' nights.

Hi snori - yes, saw the RTrips release and the t-shirt. I'll be passing up on both - RT because I already have a good copy of that show and the shirt because my wardrobe doesn't need to be even more boring than it is already.

Oh and Operator is on American Beauty not Workingman's so you'll search in vain on the WD outtakes.
:-)

Does Richard believe in an interventionist god?

I am a fan of understated boring T-shirts so might actually invest in this one.

Well, back to being dull & boring
